The prepolymer should also be kept at 110 ° C, and after the HQEE is mixed with the prepolymer, the temperature must be maintained to prevent HQEE from crystallizing. The entire molding temperature must be maintained between 110-120 ℃. For thin parts, higher temperatures are required. Below the above temperature will cause defects in HQEE crystal. The oven or mold heating equipment must exceed the required molding temperature.

The fluidization time of uncatalyzed HQEE / MDI elastomers takes about 2 hours for thin parts (such as gaskets); for thick parts (such as forklift tires), it can significantly reduce the demolding time.
In order to reduce the melting temperature of the chain extender to reduce the processing temperature, HQEE can be mixed with other diols, triols and industrial chain extenders. The commonly used ratio is HQEE 80-90%, diol or triol 10-20%.

Some defects of the product can be avoided by improving the operation. The surface frost is caused by the chain extender / prepolymer mixing or the molding temperature is too low, or the mold temperature is too low.
